Sweden
Sweden is a great country for leisure travel. We strongly recommend visiting her to verify this on your own. Various travel ideas in Sweden will help you to make the trip, which we can create for you. In terms of the level and quality of life, Sweden is one of the first places in the world. However, an ordinary Swede pays for a good life in full - he gives up to 40 percent of his monthly income to the general treasury. And it absolutely suits him. Sweden is a country of high scientific achievements. Here energy-saving technologies are used, science is seriously developing. Every year in Stockholm, the Nobel Prize is awarded for indisputable scientific and literary achievements (the prize for the controversial - in the field of peace building - is awarded in neighboring Norway).
One Swedish cuisine is worth something: here you can taste pickled herring, meat with jam, salty soup with a bit of sugar and sweet tortillas. Long-lasting fun is no stranger to the Swedes - for example, a crayfish festival lasting a whole week! The time of idleness and gluttony in Sweden is not a sin, but a small compensation for the fact that the Swedes know how and love to work.
Stretching for many hundreds of kilometers from north to south, Sweden has several climatic zones. Its weather is significantly affected by the Gulf Stream, which provides fairly moderate temperature values even in winter, despite the proximity of the Arctic Circle. In January, 20-degree frosts occur in the north of the country, while in the south mercury columns fall below zero during the daytime. At the height of summer in Stockholm it is very warm and meteorologists are happy to record + 25 ° C and above. In the north, even + 10 ° C is considered for happiness.
Another feature of the climate of Sweden is a small number of sunny hours, especially in the autumn-winter period. But this circumstance is more than compensated for by the excellent technical equipment of the local ski resorts, which usually feature night-time lighting of the tracks. The season on the slopes starts in November and lasts until mid-April. Southern Sweden is a small fairy-tale country, a great vacation spot for those who do not have time for a long journey, but I want to see everything at once. Picturesque lakes and forests, fertile fields and small medieval towns. There are more than 200 castles and manors here, and each of them has its own secrets and amazing stories.
A variety of outdoor activities, sandy beaches for swimming, fresh lakes and rivers for fishing, green forests and fresh sea air. Here, clean countryside is adjacent to modern urban centers. Southern Sweden consists of several areas: Skåne, Halland, Smoland and Blekinge. And also in the southern part of Sweden are amazing islands that are no less interesting to visit, for example: the island of Gotland and Oland.

Latvia

Latvia as a whole is known far less than its capital, Riga, or the most popular resort city of Jurmala. Many people know Riga as the largest city in the Baltic States with a huge number of architectural monuments belonging to completely different eras. Here and the Dome Cathedral, which was built in 1211 and which houses one of the most famous organs in the world, and the Peter Church with a 120-meter tower, the central silhouette of a huge number of postcards with views of the city, and the whole area of incredible beauty of houses made in Art Nouveau . By the way, it is estimated that 40% of buildings in the center of Riga are built in art nouveau style, which is more than in any other European city. But Riga and Jurmala are just a small part of the beauty that will open before the eyes of a traveler who has decided to travel inland.
